I wanna read that whole Erik Varden book on Chastity. A term I didn't hear until recent years, when I started reading and learning from Catholics. There's so many concepts and regular reference to the virtues - which were kinda cast to the wayside elsewhere in Christianity. :)
I somehow completely missed it was an excerpt from a book, so thank you for that haha. But agreed! The whole framework of virtues wasn't something I'd ever heard until finding Catholic writers online, and it's a shame it isn't talked about in other Christian spheres.
